We are delighted to announce that Mohsin Bukhari has been promoted to Head of Investments, taking over the day to day responsibility for the management of the Carrington portfolios.
Mo has been with Carrington for 7 years, working alongside Eric in the Investment management department for the last 5 years. Eric has been instrumental in Mo’s development; mentoring him, involving him in the investment and decision-making process, sharing the research and fund manager meetings and is fully supportive of his promotion. Needless to say, Mo has been heavily involved in the progress and shaping of our investment process, which has helped deliver consistently excellent results for our clients.
In addition to the years of hands on experience, Mo has a degree in Engineering, is a qualified financial planner (DipPFS), holds the CFA Level 4 Investment Management Certificate (IMC) as well as a diploma in Technical Analysis. As some may be aware, Eric has always been an advocate of the use of charts and has found them to be an essential tool in the investment decision making process, a legacy, which Mo will take forward.
Eric is still very much part of the team. He will continue to provide his support and advice, offering his thoughts on the markets and attending fund managers reviews. He will also continue as a valued member of the Carrington Investment Committee.
We hope you have had a chance to read the teams market update which went out earlier this week and please keep your eyes open for Mo’s thoughts, commentaries and fund manager reviews in the coming months.
